Book in for a fun, engaging, interactive and educational cooking experience that will inspire children to explore the world of colourful fruits and the benefits they offer for a healthy body.
Children will cut fruit shapes using shape cutters and use kid safe knives to cut fruits from all of the colours of the rainbow.
They will assemble these into a magnificent rainbow on our Baker Kids Eat the Rainbow boards.
As they engage in this creative process, they’ll learn about the specific health benefits associated with each colour, from boosting immunity to promoting strong bones.
While constructing the rainbow, children are encouraged to taste the fruits they’ve cut and turn them into a delicious and nutritious fruit salad. It’s a delightful way to experience the joy of healthy eating and encourages children to try new flavours and expand their taste preferences.
To reinforce the lesson, children will also have the opportunity to colour “Froovey Monster,” a lovable character that demonstrates the importance of consuming a variety of colourful fruits.
We also complete “How does your Garden Grow” sticker worksheet where they learn how each of these fruits grow.
It’s a perfect place to start learning knife skills in an engaging, healthy and creative way.

Children will measure with their Baker Kids Measuring Cups and Spoons, mix and knead, shape and stretch pizza dough.
They will cut all the ingredients and learn to assemble these into a magnificent rainbow coloured heathy pizza as well as reinforcing the benefits of all these colours of these vegetables.
As they engage in this creative process, they’ll learn about the science behind how yeast works as a micro organism.
They’ll conduct an experiment to help them understand the conditions under which yeast activates.
By making our Rainbow Pizzas, it encourages children to try new flavours and expand their taste preferences.
To reinforce the lesson, children will also have the opportunity to play with their included Baker Kids Pizza Puzzle, while in the process learning and reinforcing their knowledge of fractions and how these are applicable in real life.
It’s a perfect place to start /expand learning knife skills in an engaging, healthy and creative way.
